Day 2 of my notes on Sister Miriam Joseph's The Trivium. I'm sharing these with my high school Spanish students in a feeble effort to teach them something of value and help them to understand language a bit better than using a t pic like "At the train station"

I spent HOURS looking for a concise video. Your Spanish is great and that's why you made such an amazing video to share in class. Gracias!
Who needs Berklee when we have youtube! Thank you sir!
Wow, love the visual diagrams! It would really hit home to actually hear a note or 2 played along with some of the visuals. But then again, I don't have my guitar with me as I write this. Oh well. Thanks for the lesson!
Thank you for this! such a simple break down.
You can use Bead Glass Can Fracture for your sharps. It just has to be reversed
if i'm saying "my school, (name of school), is close to the mall" would it be "mi escuela, (name of school), esta cerca del centro comercial"? Or no commas? Thank you.
Yes you would use commas there. It isn’t essential to the meaning of the sentence, so use them. You wouldn’t use it when the appositive (the renaming noun) is needed to complete the meaning or defines the subject. Look at the sentence -- El actor Javier Bardem es talentoso. -- without Javier Bardem we’d have no idea who the actor is because there are so many. In the case of your school, we know which school it is-it’s yours-so naming it is just adding more unnecessary info, so use commas there.
Love you man✌️
Thanks for sharing your talent and playing this beautiful Christian Bible verse Matthew 6:9-13 in Acoustic rendition.God Bless.
Nice job, thanks.
This is a great lesson. Nothing else on UA-cam I could find explained it so simply, the graphics were great too!
Never knew what a major and c major actually looked like.
What a clear and beautifully npresented lesson. Many thanks, it was a great help.
Hello Adam, great job. I follow Doyle and love his music and skills. Can you tell me if you are using standard tuning or open C tuning? Thank you Jim
Thanks Jim, it’s in CGDGBE. So just tune the 5,6 strings a while step down.
Confusing as ever..didnt click for me
Zabardast cheers from Toronto....
Wonderful
Thank you so much this video helped a lot

Starting to figure it out. Thanks to your video, and others, it’s starting to make some sense. But you have explained well the Scale Patterns built around the CAGED system. Thanks!

Short and sweet!
Jeez that’s the first time I understood the CAGED system! Thanks

I been playing 16 months ...and this was missing it took 4.23 to click....thank u..i think people leave one thing out of everything to confuse
Thanks for the vid. It was very helpful. I understand like 30% more spanish now
This one did for me!, thanks for the clarifying animations!
When you said "try to get from tonic to tonic" it clicked for me. It gave me a target. I had been trying to get from caged shape to shape with scales. This is a great approach.
Due to suppressed human history the formation of man animal orbs being switched out with people that are shoved up other's backs so they look like us sound like us but are really people being graphed the chicken egg comes first. Witch is know onada glass and clockwork orange
I would like to understand this more. Can you direct me to information?
Excellent. Thanks.
En @2:02 yo diría "montamos la montaña rusa" o "nos subimos a la montaña rusa"
Great explanation thanks
That's really confusing.... Have a look at some of the other videos on this topic. Poor
Thanks for the lesson! ... 🎸🤘 ...
Brilliantly explained! Thanks.
Good
💜💜💜 thank you finally I got it!!!
absolutely magnificent!
Good explanation of the cycle of fourths. No problem. But he, like everyone else, NEVER explains WHY music moves in 4ths. I've never heard anyone explain. I think it's because the 3rd in any chords is also the leading tone of the next key in the cycle of fourths. Example, C-E-G-B, naturally pulls to F because E in C is a half step away from F...the leading tone. And A in F-A-C-E is the leading tone of Bb!
Thanks. Very Helpful 👍
Hello, Adam Long ! First of the circle of fifth was really explained in a simple way, that is so good. However, I still have a confusion, what are the distances between C and F and Bb ane Eb? Is must be a pure memorisation of circle of fourth or what? If the distances between all notes stays the same, I can come up with the other if I just memorise the first one.
🤗🤗
excellent playing Adam. Very Doyle like.
Thanks
Neat!
